I popped down to Cornwall again at the weekend, to meet up with my daughter and some friends for a little celebration.
We went for a meal at the Sharksfin, by the picturesque harbour in Mevagissey – the first time I’d eaten there since a Christmas lunch eight or nine years ago.
Wow, how it has changed since those days! There has been a total transformation, making it bigger, brighter, lighter – and giving us comfy settees and armchairs to lounge about in, as well as the tables and chairs designed for dining.
The whole ambiance was great – and the food was good too. Also, they welcomed Joanna’s 6-month old Tibetan terrier puppy, Leo, who played his part in the fun and laughter we all shared.
